Final Moments

Shadow knew he had to go. His time here was coming to end. He couldn’t be happy forever, that was impossible. He figured he would make things simple, sacrifice his life to end Nightmares. But what he hadn’t had planned was to receive a new cloak from a powerful Mage.

His old cloak, which had been one of a king, was nothing compared to this one. It felt powerful, and made him feel powerful.

Shadow floated around Ooo one last time before sighing heavily and reaching into his cloak, taking out a note that he had written, not knowing if anyoen would care he let it float in the wind before finally seeping into the ground and leaving Ooo.

The note reads as follows:

Dear friends of the land of Ooo,

I love you all, and this is why i write this. I cannot allow my mistakes and misfortunes hurt any of you. My curse is something i must deal with myself. Nightmare is coming and all of you are in danger unless i can stop him. If it matters, i will make sure i survive. I made a promise to someone and i will keep it. Please be safe all of you, i care deeply for you all.

Thank you Acolyte, My name is William by the way, but you may call me Shadow.

The actual existence of my being isn’t very clear to myself either. I was once a human, but a demon by the name of Nightmare who was, i am presuming, to be a Dark entity took me over. After this i became a Shadow as he did. A very powerful Magician like yourself crafted me a cloak with a spell to give me a body. I never received his name, but he was blue skinned, white haired and very old. Much like a older version of Ashley.

I am not sure if you can take a sample of my body, but i can give you this -rips a piece of his cloak and hands it to him-
